Crop Circles are an area of farmland that has been flattened down to create a circle or other intricate pattern. Crop circles are more commonly made with crops such as wheat, corn, barley and rye. While there is no known cause for this phenomenon, they are commonly associated with alien visitors but is also known to be a frequent hoax created for entertainment. While many people have stepped forward and owned up to created such designs, others are skeptical to believe we have been visited by extraterrestrials. Crop circles became widely popular in the 1970s over a controversy whether aliens had arrived on earth or not. They have since then been studied by people who are intelligent on the topic called cerealogists. Are they just a publicity ruse or have we made a groundbreaking discovery towards uncovering the mysteries of the universe.
